On Tuesday, we reported that the Joint Legislative Commission on Government Operations’ Subcommittee on Hurricane Response and Recovery would get an update on Wednesday from Laura Hogshead, Director of the North Carolina Office of Recovery & Resiliency (ReBuild NC) and Richard Trumper, Senior Advisor for Disaster Recovery at the North Carolina Department of Public Safety (NCDPS) on the government’s response to the aftermath of Hurricanes Matthew and Florence.

That hearing, which was the subcommittee’s third in the last six months, was held as planned and is posted above for your information. Over the coming days, we will analyze what occured over the meeting’s three hours and report back to you here.
