NC House Begins to Roll Out Proposed Budget, More Expected Over Coming Days

    Leaders in the North Carolina House are continuing their work to roll out their version of the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Earlier this session the Senate passed their version of the 2025-27 fiscal biennium with a bipartisan vote.

    On Tuesday May 20th at 9 am the House Finance Committee is scheduled to meet, where tax provisions related to the proposed House Budget will be discussed. A livestream of the committee can be found here.
