About the Coalition

The Carolina Leadership Coalition (CLC) is an independent nonprofit 501(c)(4) organization formed to promote the principles that create a strong economy and education system in North Carolina. We believe limited government, free enterprise, and low taxation spur job creation and wage growth; and well-funded schools thrive when teachers, principals, and parents are empowered to do what’s best for each child.

Unfortunately, conservative ideas are under attack every day. The Carolina Leadership Coalition engages North Carolinians through education, research, and advocacy to implement these principles in state government. We welcome citizens of all political parties who support these foundational ideas.
