    by CLC Staff

The Carolinas AGC (CAGC) Foundation, a construction trade association made up of contractors and construction-related firms that perform work in North Carolina and South Carolina, was awarded a $2.5 million grant from the North Carolina General Assembly in this year’s budget to work in partnership with the NC Community College System to create a training and workforce development initiative, the Construction Bootcamp. The program is designed to recruit and provide accelerated construction training so workers can be hired quickly into the industry.
